Airi Suzuki has joined the new advertising campaign for Alinamin Pharmaceutical's "Benza Block Premium DX" series. The new TV commercials will begin airing nationwide in Japan from October 2.
Airi appears in the blue Benza Block "fever" segment, while Yui Sakurai of FRUITS ZIPPER appears in the green "cough" version. Special content featuring the two, who are already close in private, is also planned.
In an interview from the shoot, it was revealed that Airi was so excited about working with Yui that she contacted her about the commercial before Yui had even heard the news from her manager. Yui, who has often described Airi as someone she admires in her own idol career, said being able to experience her first solo commercial appearance alongside Airi was something she would treasure. Airi said she felt reassured working with Yui and also described feeling something close to a parental affection toward her.
