New poster, trailer, visuals and advance ticket bonuses unveiled for “Sakuya wa yareta kamo”

A new wave of promotional material has been unveiled for “Sakuya wa yareta kamo”, the upcoming movie starring Hokuto Yoshino of THE RAMPAGE and Airi Suzuki, ahead of its theatrical release in Japan on October 23, 2026.

The film’s main poster visual has now been revealed, featuring Yoshino and Airi alongside the tagline “I love you enough to want to kill you ♡” and teasing the beginning of their unusual “killing love” battle.

An official full trailer has also been released, offering a closer look at the movie’s central premise. What begins as a misunderstanding between an otherwise lovey-dovey married couple gradually turns into a battle in which both husband and wife believe they may have to kill the other.

To celebrate the trailer and visual reveal, the movie’s official X account is also holding a follow-and-repost campaign, with five winners set to receive a copy of the main visual poster. Entries are open until August 21.

Additional details have also been announced for the film’s advance ticket sales. Online Mubichike advance tickets will go on sale on August 21 and will include an exclusive bromide photo bonus. Buyers will be able to choose from six different bromide designs.

The movie's official website has also been updated with new visuals.

Starring Hokuto Yoshino × Airi Suzuki, “Sakuya wa yareta kamo” will open in Japanese theaters on October 23.
